Pulkit Ahuja Crowned ‘Founder of the Year’ at MSME Make in India Awards 2025
Proxgy’s Pulkit Ahuja wins ‘Founder of the Year’ and ‘Make in India Initiative Award’ at MSME Summit 2025.
Proxgy, a deep technology firm dedicated to developing indigenous solutions for frontline industries, announced that its Founder and CEO, Pulkit Ahuja, has received two prestigious awards from the MSME Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (MSMECCI). The honours, bestowed during the 6th Global Sustainability Summit & Expo on September 18-19 at Vigyan Bhawan, recognise Ahuja's entrepreneurial leadership and Proxgy's contributions to domestic manufacturing. The event, held at the iconic venue on Rajpath, drew endorsements from nine Government of India ministries, including those for MSMEs, Commerce, and Environment, underscoring its role in promoting sustainable industrial growth.
The awards—Ahuja's 'Founder of the Year' and Proxgy's 'MSME Make in India Initiative Award 2025'—highlight the company's alignment with national priorities like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India. These initiatives, launched in 2014 and 2020, respectively, aim to boost local production, reduce import dependency, and foster innovation in sectors critical to India's economy. Proxy's focus on hardware-software integrations for safer, more efficient operations in industries such as manufacturing and logistics has positioned it as a key player in this ecosystem. The ceremony, attended by industry leaders, policymakers, and academics, celebrated achievements in sustainability and self-reliance amid India's push toward a $5 trillion economy.
In his acceptance remarks, Ahuja emphasised the collaborative spirit behind the success. "Receiving these two honours at Vigyan Bhawan is a deeply humbling milestone for me and for the entire Proxgy team," he said. "We started with a simple goal—to solve real problems for frontline operations with reliable, made-in-India technology.
These recognitions belong to every engineer, partner, and customer who believed in that vision. We remain committed to building in India, for India, and for the world." His words reflect Proxgy's journey since its inception, marked by sustained product innovation that enhances training, remote collaboration, and operational safety.

MSMECCI, a leading industry body, organised the summit to advocate for micro, small, and medium enterprises, which contribute over 30% to India's GDP and employ millions. Through events like this, it facilitates networking, policy dialogue, and growth programmes. Proxgy's accolades not only validate its impact but also inspire other startups in the burgeoning deep tech sector.
As India advances its sustainability agenda, such recognitions signal strong governmental support for homegrown innovations that address global challenges like supply chain resilience and green manufacturing.
