Nitin Nabin Says BJP Expected To Perform Strongly In Uttar Pradesh Elections

BJP leader predicts strong electoral win in Uttar Pradesh.

BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Friday expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party will secure another victory in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, asserting that the party’s “lotus” symbol will once again bloom in the state. He made the remarks during his organisational visit to Lucknow ahead of next year’s polls.

Speaking to IANS, Nabin highlighted what he described as strong public trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with visible enthusiasm among party workers in Uttar Pradesh. He thanked BJP cadres for their support, saying the reception he received reflected widespread affection and confidence in the party’s leadership.

Referring to Uttar Pradesh as the “karmabhoomi” of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Nabin said he was confident that voters would once again support the BJP in the state elections. He reiterated that the party remains optimistic about retaining power and continuing its governance agenda in the state.

Nabin arrived in Lucknow earlier in the day, where he was received at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary, senior organisational leaders, and members of the state cabinet. His arrival was followed by a large roadshow stretching nearly 18 kilometres from the airport to the party’s state headquarters.

The roadshow featured elaborate welcome arrangements at multiple points along the route, with party workers gathering in large numbers to greet the BJP president. The event was seen as a demonstration of organisational strength and an effort to energise the party cadre ahead of the high-stakes Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.

During his two-day visit, Nabin is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with senior state leaders, MPs, MLAs, organisational office-bearers, and representatives of various party wings. He will also meet Chief Minister Adityanath and attend strategy discussions focused on booth-level strengthening, organisational expansion, and election preparedness. His visit is expected to play a key role in finalising the BJP’s roadmap for the upcoming state elections.
