Kushboo Sundar Hails Vijay as True 'Jana Nayagan' After Historic Election Victory

Actor-turned-politician Kushboo Sundar has joined the growing list of prominent voices congratulating Vijay following his remarkable debut victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Election 2026. Praising his achievement, she described him as a true “Jana Nayagan” (people’s leader) and expressed optimism about his leadership journey, highlighting the massive public support he has garnered across the state.

Taking to social media, Kushboo shared a warm message along with a picture, calling Vijay her “brother” and congratulating him and his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), for their “spectacular win". She wrote that she now looks forward to seeing him lead the state, reflecting the expectations building around Vijay as he transitions from cinema icon to a key political figure with real governance responsibilities ahead.

Vijay’s performance in the election has been nothing short of extraordinary, with TVK emerging as the single largest party by securing 107 out of 234 seats. His entry has disrupted the long-standing dominance of traditional players like the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), marking a major political shift in the state and signalling a new era of leadership.
