Iran Parliament Prepares $58 Million Bounty Bill For Trump, Netanyahu Assassination

The Iranian parliament prepares legislation offering a $58 million reward for the assassination of Trump and Netanyahu in response to Khamenei's death.

Iranian lawmakers are reportedly considering legislation that would offer financial rewards for the assassination of Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, according to multiple international media reports. The proposed bill, said to be under discussion in the Iranian parliament, allegedly seeks to formalize a bounty worth 50 million euros, or approximately 58 million US dollars, for any individual or group involved in killing the two leaders. The development marks a sharp escalation in rhetoric amid rising tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.

Reports citing Iranian media outlets and foreign publications stated that the proposed legislation has been introduced under a draft titled “Counter-Action by the Military and Security Forces of the Islamic Republic.” According to the reports, the bill is linked to Iran’s response to the February 28 strikes on Tehran that reportedly killed the country’s then-supreme leader Ali Khamenei. Iranian officials allegedly accused Trump, Netanyahu, and senior United States military leadership of involvement in the operation and called for retaliatory measures.

Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, was quoted in reports as saying that Trump, Netanyahu, and CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper should face “counter-action” for their alleged role in Khamenei’s death. Another Iranian lawmaker, Mahmoud Nabavian, reportedly stated that parliament would soon vote on rewards for whoever “sends Trump and Netanyahu to hell.” The statements have not been independently verified, and no official confirmation from Iran’s top leadership has yet been publicly released regarding the final wording or approval status of the bill.

The reports surfaced shortly after claims emerged from pro-regime outlets and cyber groups linked to Iran suggesting financial campaigns targeting Trump and Netanyahu. One such group, identified as “Handala,” allegedly claimed it had allocated 50 million dollars for the “elimination” of the two leaders in response to bounty announcements made earlier by the United States Department of Justice against members of the organization. Iranian-linked cyber and propaganda operations have increasingly intensified online rhetoric amid the ongoing geopolitical confrontation in the region.

The proposed legislation has raised concerns internationally because it comes during a fragile ceasefire period involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. Analysts believe such statements and proposals could further strain already volatile diplomatic relations in West Asia. Last year, Trump warned that any Iranian attempt to target him would trigger a severe American response, stating that the United States would issue strict orders to retaliate decisively against Iran if such actions were carried out.

The controversy also coincides with renewed diplomatic efforts between Tehran and Washington over regional stability and broader negotiations. According to reports, Iran recently submitted an updated peace proposal to the United States, although American officials reportedly described the offer as insufficient progress toward resolving ongoing disputes. While diplomatic channels remain active, the emergence of threats, bounty discussions, and retaliatory rhetoric reflects the deep mistrust and heightened tensions that continue to shape relations between Iran, the United States, and Israel.
