Epstein's Linked Fortnite Profile Shows Post-Death Activity From Israel

Social media is abuzz with bizarre claims that disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein may have played the popular video game Fortnite years after his death in August 2019, following the emergence of gaming statistics linked to the username ‘littlestjeff1.’ The speculation stems from the latest tranche of documents released by the US Justice Department, commonly referred to as the Epstein Files, which mention ‘littlestjeff1’ as a YouTube handle used by Epstein. Soon after, online users discovered a Fortnite account with the same name that appeared to have gameplay activity recorded well after Epstein’s reported death.

The overlap triggered a wave of conspiracy theories, with some users suggesting—without evidence—that Epstein’s death had been staged. Screenshots showing the Fortnite account’s post-2019 activity circulated widely on X and other platforms, prompting reactions ranging from disbelief to mockery.

However, there has been no official confirmation that the Fortnite account is linked to Epstein himself. Online usernames can be reused, impersonated, or accessed by others, and no gaming platform or investigative agency has verified any connection between the account and the late financier.

Epstein, a convicted sex offender facing federal charges at the time, was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 in what authorities ruled a suicide—though the circumstances surrounding his death have continued to fuel speculation and misinformation online.

As with previous viral claims linked to the Epstein Files, experts have urged caution, noting that coincidence and online anonymity often drive unfounded narratives that quickly spiral on social media.
