Delhi CM Unveils Rs 10,000 Crore Projects in First-Year Report Card
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta presents a report card highlighting Rs 10,000 crore projects after the BJP's one year.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday presented a report card highlighting development initiatives undertaken during the first year of the BJP-led government in the national capital. The presentation marked the completion of one year in office and outlined projects worth ₹250 crore within the Vidhan Sabha constituency, along with larger infrastructure works valued at around ₹10,000 crore across Delhi.
Speaking at the inauguration of redevelopment works at a district park, Gupta said the report card detailed projects that have been completed, initiated, or planned over the past year. She noted that the booklet shared with the public aims to provide transparency on governance and long-term development planning under the current administration.
The Chief Minister said redevelopment of the district park had been pending for several years and included upgrades such as a new gate, repaired footpaths, renovated fountains, improved toilet facilities, and restored boundary walls. She added that similar fountain renovation work has now begun across the Vidhan Sabha constituency and in parks maintained by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

Gupta also reiterated the government’s focus on urban infrastructure and public amenities, linking park redevelopment to broader efforts aimed at improving the quality of life in the capital. Earlier in the day, she said Delhi is set to become the state with the highest number of electric buses, underlining the government’s push toward cleaner and more sustainable public transport.
Addressing reporters ahead of the launch of new electric buses, the Chief Minister thanked Delhi residents for placing their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. She said the government remains committed to working year-round to meet public expectations and deliver development. According to party sources, BJP National President Nitin Nabin is scheduled to launch 500 electric buses and the Delhi–Panipat interstate bus service at Ramlila Maidan in the presence of the Chief Minister.
The government has said the initiatives announced during the first anniversary reflect its focus on infrastructure, environment-friendly transport, and visible civic improvements, as it looks to build momentum for its governance agenda in the coming years.
