Congress Predicts Massive Jubilee Hills Win In Bypoll

Ministers slam BRS neglect, rally behind youth leader Naveen Yadav.

The Congress party intensified its campaign for the Jubilee Hills Assembly bypoll on Sunday, with multiple ministers conducting door-to-door canvassing and street-corner meetings in support of candidate V Naveen Yadav. Leaders framed the election as a pivotal moment for Telangana’s future, confidently predicting a landslide victory.

R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy lambasted the BRS for 10 years of neglect, declaring: “BRS leaders have no moral right to seek votes after abandoning the poor.” He claimed a “Congress wave” is sweeping the constituency, forecasting a huge margin for Naveen Yadav. Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar highlighted welfare schemes—new ration cards, free fine rice, zero-interest loans for women, and free RTC travel—urging voters to back the youth leader for integrity and local development.

Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka appealed to Palamuru residents in Jubilee Hills to “strengthen Revanth Reddy’s people’s government” by electing Yadav. She cited Indiramma housing, free electricity, and women-centric schemes as proof of commitment. Forest Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao called the bypoll “historic”, crediting CM Revanth Reddy for transforming Hyderabad into “Mini India” and urging voters to reject BRS “arrogance.”

Animal Husbandry Minister Vakiti Srihari criticized BRS for leaving a ₹7.5 lakh crore debt and failing to deliver basic amenities. He positioned Naveen Yadav as the key to unlocking Revanth Reddy’s development vision. The coordinated campaign underscores Congress’s strategy to consolidate power in urban strongholds and counter BRS resurgence.

With polling day approaching, the high-decibel outreach signals Congress’s determination to turn Jubilee Hills into a resounding endorsement of its governance model under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
