CM Chandrababu Naidu To Campaign In Tamil Nadu For NDA Across Key Cities

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu to campaign across Tamil Nadu for NDA ahead of elections.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to campaign for the National Democratic Alliance in Tamil Nadu starting Monday, as the alliance intensifies its outreach ahead of the state Assembly elections. The two-day tour is expected to cover multiple key constituencies across the state, according to party sources.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP), led nationally by Naidu, said the campaign will focus on energising party cadres, strengthening voter connect, and promoting the NDA’s development-centric narrative. The visit comes at a crucial time as campaigning enters its final phase before polling.

Naidu is scheduled to begin his tour in Coimbatore, where he will address a major public meeting in the afternoon. He will later travel to Hosur and Thalli, where he is expected to participate in a public rally aimed at engaging local voters and party workers. The schedule reflects a concentrated effort to cover key industrial and semi-urban belts in western Tamil Nadu.

On the first day of the tour, the Chief Minister will also visit Chennai, where he is expected to take part in a large roadshow in Avadi. Party leaders said the engagement is designed to connect directly with urban voters and reinforce the alliance’s campaign messaging around governance and development.

On the second day, Naidu will travel to Madurai and Sattur, where he is expected to meet community leaders and participate in additional campaign events. These interactions are intended to broaden the NDA’s outreach in southern and central Tamil Nadu regions, which are seen as politically significant in the current election cycle.

The campaign assumes importance as the NDA steps up its presence in Tamil Nadu, with leaders emphasising economic growth, infrastructure development, and governance reforms. Known for his focus on technology-driven administration, Naidu is expected to highlight development models during his speeches.

With campaigning set to conclude on April 21 and voting scheduled for April 23 across all 234 constituencies, the NDA is banking on high-profile leader visits to boost momentum in the final stretch of the electoral contest.
