BJP Chief Nabin Highlights Youth Support For PM Modi And Rise Of Job-Creators

BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Wednesday highlighted the role of young Indians in the country’s development, asserting that the youth are increasingly moving from being job-seekers to becoming job-creators through start-ups and unicorns. Speaking at the BJP’s central office, Nabin linked the trend to what he described as a broader transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Nabin also highlighted development initiatives in villages located along India’s borders. He noted that such settlements were earlier described as the country’s “last villages” but were subsequently presented as “first villages” under the Modi government. According to Nabin, the change in terminology accompanied efforts to improve the lives of residents and alter perceptions about communities living in border areas.

Taking aim at the Opposition, the BJP chief maintained that young Indians had moved from an atmosphere of despair towards greater optimism and participation. He attributed this change to the policies and support extended to the youth since Modi became prime minister in 2014. Nabin pointed to participation by young Indians across different sectors as evidence of their expanding role in the country’s growth.

Nabin also referred to the government’s efforts against Naxalism and its focus on cultural heritage. He highlighted projects and developments associated with the Ram Temple and Kashi Vishwanath, arguing that economic development had been accompanied by greater attention to India’s cultural identity. He further projected the reduction of Naxalism as an important achievement under the Modi government.

On the economy, Nabin contrasted India’s position when Modi assumed office with its current standing among major global economies. He recalled the description of India as part of the “Fragile Five” and argued that the country has since emerged as the fastest-growing major economy. He also highlighted what he described as India’s increased stature and recognition on the international stage.

Nabin further outlined the BJP’s intention to take the message of Modi’s public service to people across the country. He highlighted the government’s focus on women-led development and welfare initiatives while maintaining that 25 crore families had been brought out of poverty. The BJP chief presented these measures as part of the government’s broader development approach centred on participation, welfare and inclusive growth.
