BJP Calls for 90-Day Booth-Level Campaign in Tamil Nadu to Target DMK

BJP leader launches massive grassroots offensive against ruling DMK.

BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin has called for an intensive 90-day booth-level campaign across Tamil Nadu to expose alleged corruption, dynastic politics, and governance failures of the ruling DMK government. Addressing a large gathering of party workers, booth presidents, and senior leaders in Singanallur, he asserted that the BJP is uniquely positioned to form an NDA government in the state, emphasising the party’s ideology of organisation, merit, and Nation First.

Nabin highlighted the BJP’s organisational strength, where unity spans seamlessly from booth presidents to national leadership. He stressed that booth-level workers form the backbone of electoral success and urged regular grassroots engagement, including collective listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat every month, to strengthen ideological clarity and party discipline among cadres.

Delivering a sharp critique of the DMK, Nabin accused the ruling party of insulting Sanatan values, promoting divisive identity politics, and normalising abusive rhetoric. He announced a structured protest strategy, including signature campaigns on local issues, dharnas, MLA-targeted demonstrations, and marches highlighting ten major failures of the DMK government, with the clear objective of mobilising public discontent into mass movements across every Assembly constituency.

The BJP leader issued a direct mandate for the next three months, instructing mandal presidents and karyakartas to conduct door-to-door visits to at least ten households daily. He described the period as crucial for election preparations, calling on workers to take a personal pledge to dedicate themselves fully to building support for the BJP and NDA alliance, leaving no room for complacency.

During the day’s events, Nabin participated in the Viksit Bharat G-RAM G programme in Neelambur, praising the Modi government’s extension of rural employment guarantees to 125 days, village-led development planning, and Direct Benefit Transfer system that ensures transparency and zero tolerance for corruption. He concluded by appealing for unity within the NDA, greater focus on women’s participation, and disciplined efforts to position Tamil Nadu on a path of development aligned with its cultural and industrial strengths under an NDA-led government.
