BJP Announces Nationwide Campaign To Highlight NDA Government’s 12-Year Achievements
BJP to showcase NDA governance achievements through nationwide campaign.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a nationwide month-long outreach campaign to commemorate 12 years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Centre, highlighting the administration’s governance record, welfare initiatives and infrastructure achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The campaign will begin on June 7 and continue until June 21, coinciding with International Yoga Day.
As part of the programme, BJP leaders across the country — including Union ministers, Members of Parliament, state ministers, MLAs and party office-bearers — will participate in the ‘Pragati Path Yatra’ and organise ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp’ conventions between June 8 and June 14. According to the party’s plan, senior leaders will visit key infrastructure and development projects implemented during the NDA government’s tenure to showcase progress made in sectors such as transport, connectivity and public welfare.
The BJP will also hold ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp’ conventions in every district, alongside media briefings at the state, district and central levels. Party leaders said the campaign aims to communicate the government’s achievements among the public, particularly welfare schemes focused on farmers, women and economically weaker sections. A senior BJP leader stated that the Modi government’s tenure has been marked by “trust, development and public welfare,” citing initiatives related to women’s empowerment, rural development and poverty alleviation.

The outreach effort comes at a politically significant moment for the BJP, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to become the country’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister under the NDA on June 7. To strengthen grassroots engagement, the party has formed dedicated teams at both state and district levels to coordinate campaign activities. BJP MPs have been directed to spend one day in each Assembly constituency within their Lok Sabha segments, while party MLAs will visit every Mandal within their Assembly constituencies during the campaign period.
In addition to political outreach, the BJP plans to organise registration camps for several flagship government schemes, including Ayushman Bharat, Ayushman Vay Vandana, PM Surya Ghar, PM SVANidhi, Lakhpati Didi and the VB-G-RAM scheme. The party will also conduct exhibitions, painting competitions and awareness programmes across districts. Senior leaders have been instructed to connect with at least 500 prominent personalities from different sectors and honour them while sharing information about the government’s achievements.
The campaign will also include environmental and agricultural initiatives. Ahead of the main programme, BJP workers and leaders will observe World Environment Day on June 5 through plantation drives under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative in every Mandal. Additionally, the party plans to conduct workshops on natural farming at more than 1,000 locations nationwide, featuring demonstrations and lectures by experts and practitioners as part of its broader outreach and sustainability agenda.
