#BIGBREAKING: Won't Stay In Politics! Yogi Adityanath's Shocking Announcement

Yogi Over PM: Adityanath Shuns Ambition for Spiritual Calling

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has brushed off speculation about a future prime ministerial run, declaring in a PTI interview on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, that “politics is not a full-time job for me.”

The saffron-robed leader, often tipped as a BJP heavyweight, stressed his core identity as a “Yogi at heart,” devoted to serving UP’s people as entrusted by his party. “The party has placed me here to serve,” he said, deflecting national leadership buzz.

Adityanath hinted at a limited political stint, noting, “There will be a time frame for this as well.”

When pressed, he affirmed, “Yes, that is what I am saying.” Blending spirituality with governance, he argued that politics and religion falter when fueled by self-interest but thrive when aimed at the greater good. “Indian tradition never links religion with selfish motives,” he said, casting politics as a tool for progress and spiritual liberation.

Rejecting any special status, he insisted, “I work as a citizen… the nation is paramount.” For Adityanath, a secure nation protects religion, unlocking paths to welfare.

On legacy, he dismissed personal fame: “It’s not the name but the work that should be remembered.” Critics and supporters alike are left pondering—does this signal a step back from politics or a deeper commitment to his yogic roots? For now, Adityanath’s gaze remains fixed on UP, where service trumps ambition.
