Andhra Pradesh Police's elite Greyhounds and OCTOPUS commando teams have secured four prestigious trophies at the 16th All India Police Commando Competitions, held at the National Security Guard (NSG) campus in Manesar, Haryana. The event, which concluded recently, showcased the skills of commando units from various states and central forces in rigorous challenges testing physical endurance, tactical expertise, shooting proficiency, and operational leadership.

The Andhra Pradesh contingent emerged as the standout performer among state police forces, clinching the Best State Police Commando Trophy, which recognizes the top overall team from state units. They also won the Black Hawk Trophy for excellence in shooting, demonstrating superior marksmanship under high-pressure scenarios. Additionally, the team received the Rannaneeti Trophy for the best operational leadership, highlighting their strategic planning, decision-making, and execution during simulated combat and counter-terrorism exercises.
