Amit Shah To Address Three Election Rallies In West Bengal Today
Amit Shah will address multiple rallies across Bankura and Purulia as BJP intensifies Bengal campaign.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address a series of election rallies across West Bengal on Saturday as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s intensified campaign ahead of the upcoming state Assembly elections. The campaign events are expected to draw large gatherings of party workers and supporters across key constituencies in the region.
Shah’s first public meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Ramsagar Anchal Ground in Chhatna under the Onda Assembly constituency in Bankura district. The rally is part of the BJP’s outreach effort in rural and semi-urban areas, where the party is seeking to strengthen its organisational presence and voter base.
The second rally of the day is planned at 12:30 p.m. in the Chhatna Assembly constituency, also in Bankura district. The event will be held at Ethani Jhantipahari, where Shah is expected to address party supporters and highlight the BJP’s campaign agenda for the state.

Later in the day, Shah will travel to Purulia district for his third public meeting. The rally is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in the Baghmundi Assembly constituency at Kushaldih Cricket Ground. The programme is expected to bring together local party cadres and residents from surrounding areas as part of the BJP’s broader mobilisation drive.
The rallies come a day after Shah released the BJP’s manifesto, titled ‘Sankalp Patra’, for the West Bengal Assembly elections. The document outlines several key promises, including the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission within 45 days of forming a government and the introduction of a Uniform Civil Code within six months if elected to power in the state.
During the manifesto release, Shah said the BJP would follow a zero-tolerance policy against infiltration if it comes to power in West Bengal. He also outlined welfare and governance promises, including financial support measures for women, job reservations, and assured dearness allowance for government employees, positioning the party’s campaign around governance reforms and social welfare commitments.
