Two LPG Ships Flying Indian Flag Exit Gulf, Tracking Data Shows
Two Indian LPG ships safely exit Gulf, tracking confirms.
Two more Indian-flagged liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers have departed the Persian Gulf, according to ship-tracking data, marking a continued resumption of energy shipments from the region. The movement comes amid global efforts to stabilise supply chains and ensure uninterrupted energy exports from the Gulf to India.
The vessels, part of India’s commercial shipping fleet, were loaded with LPG destined for ports along the country’s western coast. Tracking information indicates that the ships have set course through the Arabian Sea, following standard maritime routes. Shipping officials confirmed that the departures were routine and followed all international safety and navigation protocols.
India relies heavily on imports of LPG to meet domestic demand, particularly for cooking fuel and industrial applications. The country’s energy authorities closely monitor shipments from the Gulf to manage inventory and avoid supply shortages. The latest departures signal ongoing cooperation between Indian shipping firms and Gulf suppliers.

The recent movement of these ships comes against the backdrop of fluctuating global energy markets, which have been affected by geopolitical tensions, fluctuating crude prices, and logistical constraints. Indian officials have emphasized the importance of timely arrivals to maintain consistent domestic supply and prevent disruptions for consumers.
Maritime analysts noted that tracking data for Indian-flagged vessels has become increasingly transparent, helping authorities and market participants anticipate cargo arrivals and plan accordingly. “Monitoring ship movements allows better coordination for offloading and distribution, ensuring LPG reaches domestic markets efficiently,” said a shipping expert.
With the addition of these two vessels, India continues to secure essential energy imports from the Gulf, reinforcing its energy security strategy. Officials reiterated that routine maritime operations will continue, ensuring that both industrial and household demand for LPG remains stable while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance across all shipments.
