Infosys Partners Anthropic to Integrate Claude AI into Topaz Platform
Infosys integrates Anthropic's Claude AI into Topaz for telecom and agentic solutions.
In a major development, Infosys has signed a strategic pact with Anthropic to develop advanced artificial intelligence solutions for enterprises. The collaboration will initially focus on heavily regulated industries such as telecommunications. The partnership aims to accelerate adoption of responsible AI at scale. It marks another step in the growing enterprise AI race. The announcement was confirmed in an exchange filing on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, Anthropic’s Claude family of AI models will be integrated with Infosys’ Topaz AI platform. This includes the coding-focused Claude Code model designed to boost developer productivity. The integration is expected to automate complex business workflows and speed up software development cycles. Companies also plan to support governed AI deployment across enterprises. The move strengthens Infosys’ AI-led services strategy.
The partnership will also establish a dedicated Anthropic Centre of Excellence focused on telecom use cases. The two firms plan to build specialised AI agents for network management and customer lifecycle operations. Over time, the solutions will expand to financial services, manufacturing and software development sectors. The initiative is expected to deepen industry-specific AI capabilities. It reflects rising demand for domain-trained enterprise AI.

A key pillar of the collaboration is agentic AI—systems designed to autonomously execute multi-step tasks. Such AI agents could support claims processing, compliance reviews, risk assessments and automated code testing. Infosys CEO Salil Parekh said the partnership represents a strategic leap toward intelligent and responsible enterprise operations. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei highlighted the importance of domain expertise in deploying AI in regulated industries. Both companies emphasised real-world enterprise impact.
Shares of Infosys rose more than 3% following the announcement, making the stock one of the top gainers on the benchmark index. The development comes amid strong investor interest in AI-driven IT services companies. Brokerages have previously flagged Infosys as a key beneficiary of enterprise AI spending. The deal is expected to strengthen the company’s positioning in next-generation digital services. Market participants will closely track execution and client adoption.
