According to UAE authorities, the incident occurred at an external electrical generator located just outside the perimeter of the Barakah facility in the Al Dhafra region. Officials confirmed that there were no injuries reported in the incident and emphasized that radiation safety levels remained normal. The UAE’s nuclear regulatory authorities stated that all reactor units at the facility continue to operate as usual, reassuring the public that there has been no impact on nuclear safety.
