Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Issues Statement Amid US-Israeli Military Strikes In Tehran
Prince Pahlavi urges calm, readiness, and civilian alignment as Tehran is hit by US-Israel strikes.
Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has issued a message to citizens, security forces, and US President Donald Trump amid ongoing US-Israeli airstrikes on Iran, calling the moment “fateful” and urging preparation for renewed protests. The statement comes as explosions were reported across Tehran, including areas near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In his address, Pahlavi described the current situation as a decisive turning point and framed the strikes as “humanitarian intervention” targeting the mechanisms of the Islamic Republic rather than the Iranian people themselves. He stressed that while external support had arrived, the ultimate outcome would depend on Iranians: “But despite the arrival of this aid, the final victory will still be determined by us. We, the Iranian people, will be the ones to end this final campaign. The time to return to the streets is near.”
Pahlavi directed a pointed appeal to Iran’s military, police, and security personnel, urging them to side with civilians rather than the regime. “You swore to defend Iran and the Iranian people – not to defend the Islamic Republic and its leaders,” he said, warning that those who fail to act may “sink with the shattered ship of Khamenei and his regime.”

Addressing Trump, Pahlavi requested caution to minimize civilian casualties while acknowledging US support. He called the Iranian people “a natural ally” of the United States and the free world and emphasized the need to protect ordinary citizens during what he described as “the most difficult period in Iran’s modern history.”
The crown prince also echoed Trump’s earlier calls for citizens to take control of their future. He advised Iranians to stay at home for the moment, maintain vigilance, and prepare for a coordinated return to the streets, which he promised to signal at the appropriate time for “the final action.”
The military strikes by the US and Israel, confirmed by both nations as preemptive, reportedly targeted strategic locations in Tehran. The Israeli military stated that Iran had launched retaliatory actions, signaling a rapid escalation in hostilities. Pahlavi’s message underscores the tense intersection of external military pressure and internal political mobilization, with Iran facing a critical and volatile period.
