PM Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 to be held with participant selection via MCQ competition.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), the annual interactive programme where Prime Minister Narendra Modi engages with students, teachers, and parents. PPC 2026 is scheduled for January 2026, offering participants a unique platform to discuss exam-related challenges and stress management directly with the Prime Minister.

Participants will be selected through a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) competition hosted on the MyGov portal from December 1, 2025, to January 11, 2026. Students of Classes 6 to 12, along with teachers and parents, can take part in this online initiative. The competition also allows participants to submit questions that may be featured during the live programme. All participants will receive a Participation Certificate.

Since its inception in February 2018 at Talkatora Stadium, Pariksha Pe Charcha has become a flagship initiative of the government, aimed at reducing examination stress among students. Over the years, the event has grown in scale and viewership, becoming a highly anticipated interaction between the Prime Minister and the education community.

The eighth edition of PPC, held in 2025, adopted a special format with the participation of celebrated personalities, including actor Deepika Padukone, six-time world champion boxer MC Mary Kom, and spiritual leader Sadhguru. The event garnered an unprecedented viewership of over 21 crore across all media platforms, highlighting its immense popularity.

CBSE’s announcement emphasizes the continued focus on mental well-being and interactive learning. By involving students, teachers, and parents in the MCQ competition and question submissions, the programme encourages active engagement and reflection on exam preparedness and stress management techniques.

With the ninth edition approaching, students and educators are urged to register and participate on the MyGov portal to secure an opportunity to feature in PPC 2026. The programme promises to blend inspiration, guidance, and practical tips directly from the Prime Minister, further cementing its status as a landmark event in India’s academic calendar.
