Youth Issues Take Centre Stage As Dipke Launches Nationwide Awareness Campaign

Dipke launches campaign on youth issues

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Thursday announced the launch of a nationwide campaign titled “Kya Bolti Public” to understand the concerns, expectations, and challenges faced by people, especially the youth. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said the campaign would focus on directly engaging with citizens and gathering feedback on issues affecting their daily lives. The announcement was made after a two-day conclave of the party’s core committee members held at Dipke’s residence in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Addressing the media after the meeting, Dipke said the campaign would involve travelling across the country to listen to people's views and understand their aspirations. He alleged that those in power had become disconnected from public concerns and were no longer willing to listen to citizens.

“We will travel across the country to understand the expectations, aspirations, and concerns of the people. We believe those in power are no longer willing to listen to people’s issues and have become disconnected from the public,” Dipke said while announcing the initiative. The CJP leader said the campaign would particularly focus on youth-related issues, with education reforms emerging as a key priority for the party. He claimed that quality education had become increasingly expensive for ordinary families and that rising costs were creating financial pressure on parents and students. Highlighting concerns over education expenses, Dipke said that fees for primary education in several schools had increased significantly.

He claimed that in many institutions, annual fees for Class 1 students range between ₹1 lakh and ₹2 lakh, excluding additional expenses such as donations and other charges. He also pointed to rising college tuition fees and coaching costs, saying many families are being forced to take on financial burdens to support their children's education. According to Dipke, the CJP aims to address these challenges by focusing on reforms that make education more affordable and accessible. He said the party believes that students and young people require greater support and opportunities to build their futures without being overwhelmed by rising educational costs.

The “Kya Bolti Public” campaign is expected to serve as a public outreach programme through which the party will collect opinions and identify major concerns across different regions. The initiative will cover issues beyond education, including broader social and economic challenges faced by citizens. The announcement comes as political parties across the country increasingly focus on youth engagement and public outreach campaigns. With young voters forming a significant section of the electorate, employment, education, affordability, and opportunities remain key issues in political discussions.

Dipke said the CJP’s approach would be based on understanding public sentiment directly rather than relying only on traditional political channels. The party plans to use the nationwide campaign to gather feedback and shape its future priorities based on the concerns raised by citizens. The campaign launch marks an attempt by the relatively new political outfit to establish a connection with voters and highlight issues it believes require greater attention. As the initiative progresses, the party is expected to present more details about its schedule, locations, and the issues it plans to address during the nationwide outreach programme.
