Your Vote, Your Power: Download Bihar Voter Slip and Digital IDs Online
ECI enables Bihar voters to download voter slips and digital IDs online ahead of Assembly Election 2025.
Bihar kicked off its 2025 Assembly elections on Thursday with Phase 1 polling across 121 constituencies in 18 districts, where over 3.75 crore voters are deciding the fate of 1,314 candidates from 7 a.m. onwards. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has made it easier than ever for voters to access their official voter slip—also known as the unofficial identity slip—which includes crucial details like polling booth location, serial number in the electoral roll, and timing. While physical slips are distributed door-to-door by Booth Level Officers, millions are downloading digital versions online to avoid last-minute hassle, especially amid allegations of irregularities in the revised voter lists.
To download your voter slip instantly, visit the official ECI Voters’ Services Portal at voters.eci.gov.in and click on “Download Voter Slip” or directly access the voter information section. You’ll need your EPIC (Voter ID) number and a mobile number registered with the ECI for OTP verification. Enter your EPIC number, select Bihar as the state, input the captcha, and hit search—an OTP will be sent to your phone. After verification, your personalised voter slip with a QR code will appear for download as a PDF, ready to print or show on your mobile at the booth.
Forgot your EPIC number? No problem—head to electoralsearch.eci.gov.in, choose “Search by Details”, fill in your name, father’s/husband’s name, date of birth, district, and assembly constituency, then verify with captcha and OTP. Once your record appears, note the EPIC number and follow the voter slip download steps above. Alternatively, download the free Voter Helpline App (available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store), register with your mobile number, go to “Voter Services”, select “Download Voter Slip”, enter your EPIC, verify OTP, and save the PDF instantly.

Remember, the voter slip alone isn’t valid ID—carry your original EPIC or any of the 12 approved photo IDs, like Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or driving licence. Phase 1 ends at 5 p.m. (6 p.m. in most booths), Phase 2 follows on November 11 across the remaining 122 seats, and results will be declared on November 14. With webcasting at every booth and over 90,000 polling stations equipped with CCTV, the ECI urges voters to verify details early and vote fearlessly to strengthen democracy.
