Yogi Hails ‘New India’s’ Strength, Modi’s Global Stature in Varanasi

Yogi praises Modi’s terror-crushing ‘New India’ vision!

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and India’s resolute response to terrorism during Modi’s 51st visit to his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, on Saturday. Speaking at a public event, Adityanath hailed the success of Operation Sindoor, a May 6-7 military strike against Pakistan-based terror camps following the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26. “This New India crushes terror perpetrators and eliminates enemies on their own soil,” he declared, welcoming Modi on behalf of Uttar Pradesh’s 25 crore residents.

Adityanath highlighted Modi’s global influence, noting that over 50 countries, including Ghana, Namibia, and Brazil, have honored him with their highest civilian awards in the past 11 years. “Modi’s vision for public welfare and global good makes 140 crore Indians proud,” he said, emphasizing Varanasi’s pride in having Modi as its MP. He described Kashi as a “unique confluence of spirituality and modernity,” drawing global attention through projects worth Rs 51,000 crore, of which Rs 34,000 crore have been completed and Rs 2,183.45 crore were launched Saturday, spanning connectivity, healthcare, education, sports, and cultural rejuvenation.

The CM praised Modi’s inclusive policies, particularly the term ‘Divyang’ for persons with disabilities, which has fostered opportunities in various fields. He contrasted the past, when farmers faced despair and suicides, with the present, where schemes like PM-Kisan, Soil Health Card, and Crop Insurance have empowered 2.3 crore UP farmers, including 2.21 lakh in Varanasi, who received the 20th PM-Kisan instalment of Rs 20,500 crore for 9.7 crore farmers nationwide. Adityanath credited Modi’s farmer-centric initiatives for building a self-reliant India, aligning with the vision of a developed nation by 2047.
