Yogi Adityanath Vows Strict Action Against Land Grabbing During Janata Darshan in UP
Yogi Adityanath directs strict action against land grabbing during the Janata Darshan event.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday assured citizens that their grievances would be addressed promptly and effectively, while warning of strict action against those involved in illegal land occupation. The remarks were made during a ‘janata darshan’ programme held at the Gorakhnath Temple, where the chief minister interacted directly with members of the public seeking redressal of various issues.
Addressing the gathering, Adityanath emphasised that people should not feel anxious about unresolved concerns, as the government remains committed to ensuring timely solutions. He particularly took note of complaints related to illegal land grabbing and directed officials to initiate strict legal action against anyone found forcibly occupying others’ property. The statement reflects the administration’s continued focus on maintaining law and order in land-related disputes across the state.
During the programme, the chief minister met nearly 200 individuals who had assembled at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan premises. He personally approached attendees, collected their applications, and issued on-the-spot instructions to officials present to ensure swift action. The initiative is part of the government’s outreach efforts aimed at bridging the gap between citizens and the administration by addressing concerns directly at the grassroots level.

Adityanath further stressed the importance of transparency, sensitivity, and accountability in governance. He instructed both administrative and police officials to ensure that complaints are resolved in a time-bound and impartial manner. Applications received during the session were forwarded to relevant departments with clear directives to expedite the resolution process without unnecessary delays.
In addition to land-related grievances, several individuals sought financial assistance for medical treatment. Responding to these appeals, the chief minister assured that financial constraints would not prevent anyone from accessing healthcare. He directed officials to prepare cost estimates for advanced medical treatment promptly, enabling the government to release financial aid without delay.
Earlier in the day, Adityanath offered prayers at the temple and paid homage at the samadhi of his teacher, Brahmaleen Mahant Avaidyanath. The janata darshan programme continues to serve as a key platform for the Uttar Pradesh government to engage directly with citizens, reinforcing its commitment to responsive governance and effective public service delivery.
