Women CRPF Riders To Conquer Kashmir To Ladakh in Epic Rally
32 Women CRPF Riders will begin 1,400-Km High-Altitude Rally From Srinagar To Ladakh tomorrow.
A remarkable all-women bike expedition organized by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will commence from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, heading to Pangong Tso Lake in Ladakh. The nine-day rally, covering approximately 1,400 kilometers, will see 32 women personnel from the CRPF’s elite ‘Daredevils’ bike-borne unit navigate challenging high-altitude terrains, returning to Srinagar on October 1.
The expedition will be flagged off by CRPF Director General G P Singh at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, marking a significant moment for the force. “The expedition serves as a symbol of women breaking barriers and conquering challenging terrains,” a senior CRPF officer stated, highlighting the event’s significance in showcasing women’s resilience and capability.
The CRPF, with its 3.25 lakh personnel, is the world’s largest paramilitary force and plays a critical role in tackling internal security challenges, including Left Wing Extremism, terrorism in the Kashmir Valley, and insurgency in northeastern states.
The women’s bike rally underscores the force’s commitment to empowering its female personnel while demonstrating their prowess in demanding conditions. This initiative not only celebrates their courage but also inspires broader societal recognition of women’s strength in overcoming formidable challenges.
