Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 75th birthday today, drawing an outpouring of greetings from political figures, global leaders, and celebrities, underscoring his widespread influence. Chief ministers from Bihar, Goa, and Sikkim joined the chorus, with Bihar's Nitish Kumar praying for Modi's long life in a simple X post at 9:08 AM IST.
Goa's Pramod Sawant hailed him as a "visionary leader" devoted to "Dev, Desh, Dharma, and Jan Kalyan," wishing continued guidance for national prosperity. Sikkim's P.S. Tamang praised Modi's life as an "exemplary embodiment of national service," crediting his "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" mantra for fostering trust and progress toward Viksit Bharat.
Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath offered heartfelt wishes, and Tamil Nadu's M.K. Stalin conveyed warm regards. Andhra Pradesh's Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy prayed for a "long, healthy, and blessed life in service to the Nation." Rajasthan's Bhajanlal Sharma lauded Modi's "Swachh Bharat Mission" as a public movement, and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi highlighted achievements from lunar missions to economic and cultural progress.
The tributes extended to opposition voices and other chief ministers, reflecting bipartisan respect. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wished Modi "good health," while party president Mallikarjun Kharge extended greetings for a healthy life.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar praised Modi's "transformative leadership" in building a self-reliant India, wishing him good health and more years of service.
Internationally, New Zealand's Prime Minister Christopher Luxon shared a video message of warm wishes, and Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov thanked Modi for elevating India-Russia friendship, emphasizing global cooperation and sustainable development.
Celebrities like Bollywood's Shah Rukh Khan wished Modi a "healthy and joyful day" with time for fun, while South star Vijay Deverakonda called him a "powerhouse of a man, filled with energy." Actor Nagarjuna recalled his 2014 meeting as inspirational, praying for Modi's health.
