Wings India 2026 aviation expo opens in Hyderabad.

Wings India 2026, Asia’s largest civil aviation exhibition, began on Wednesday at Begumpet Airport, drawing aviation enthusiasts, industry leaders, and international participants. Inaugurated by Minister of Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, the event showcases India’s expanding aviation capabilities and cutting-edge technology over four days, from January 28 to 31.

The exhibition features nearly 150 aviation companies displaying helicopters, commercial aircraft, drones, and futuristic drone taxis. The event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, offering a platform for businesses, professionals, and the public to explore India’s aviation ecosystem.

Highlighting the inauguration were breathtaking aerial performances by the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) and the Mark Jeffery Aerobatic Team. SKAT demonstrated precision maneuvers with four aircraft, while the Mark Jeffery team performed multiple stunts, leaving spectators amazed with colorful smoke trails and synchronized aerial choreography.
