West Bengal Releases SIR 2026 Final Electoral Roll: Check Name Online Now

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has published the final electoral roll for West Bengal under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 on February 28, 2026, ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. The revised list, incorporating verifications, claims, objections, and hearings from the SIR process, includes approximately 7.08 crore voters and features clear markings such as "Under Adjudication" or "Deleted" where applicable.

The SIR exercise aimed to clean the electoral rolls by removing duplicates, errors, and ineligible entries while ensuring eligible voters remain included. The final publication follows the draft roll released earlier and a period of intensive verification across the state. Hard copies are available at district election offices, sub-divisional offices, block development offices, and with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for offline checks.

Voters can verify their names online through official ECI platforms, including the Voters' Services Portal and the Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal website. A quick search option is also available via the Voter Helpline App or ECINET app for mobile users. The process allows checking by EPIC (Voter ID) number, name and details, or downloading PDFs of polling station-wise rolls.

To check your name in the final voter list online, follow these steps: Visit the official Voters' Services Portal at voters.eci.gov.in. Navigate to the "Download Electoral Roll" section under Services. Select State as West Bengal, Year of Revision as 2026, and Roll Type as SIR Final Roll 2026. Choose your District, Assembly Constituency, and preferred language, then enter the captcha code. Proceed to select your polling station and download the relevant PDF to search for your name or details. Alternatively, use the "Search in Electoral Roll" feature at electoralsearch.eci.gov.in by entering your EPIC number, name with date of birth and constituency, or mobile number for instant verification.

If your name is missing, incorrect, or marked as deleted, contact your local BLO immediately or file a claim/objection through Form 6 (for inclusion) or other relevant forms on the ECI portal. The final roll serves as the basis for voter eligibility in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly polls, and timely verification is recommended to avoid issues on polling day.
