VP Radhakrishnan, CM Naidu Perform Prayers at Tirupati

New Rs 102 crore Pilgrims Amenities Complex enhances devotee experience.

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu visited the iconic Tirumala temple on Thursday to offer prayers and inaugurate a state-of-the-art Pilgrims Amenities Complex – 5. The duo’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing the spiritual and logistical experience for millions of pilgrims who flock to this sacred site annually.

The newly unveiled complex, constructed at a cost of Rs 102 crore, is a game-changer for Tirupati’s infrastructure. Designed to accommodate up to 4,000 devotees at a time, the facility boasts modern amenities tailored to meet the needs of pilgrims. With 16 spacious dormitories, 2,400 secure lockers, and round-the-clock hot water supply, the complex ensures comfort and convenience, elevating the pilgrimage experience to new heights.

“Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, alongside Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, had the divine darshan of Srivaru and dedicated this remarkable facility to the devotees,” stated an official release from the temple authorities. The Chief Minister personally handed over the first booking tokens to pilgrims, marking the official opening of the complex and symbolizing its immediate accessibility to the public.

The Pilgrims Amenities Complex – 5 is part of ongoing efforts by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to modernize facilities while preserving the sanctity of the temple. The structure blends functionality with thoughtful design, ensuring that devotees can focus on their spiritual journey without logistical hassles. The addition of this complex is expected to ease congestion and provide a seamless experience, especially during peak festival seasons when Tirupati sees an influx of visitors from across India and beyond.

This inauguration reflects Andhra Pradesh’s broader vision to position Tirupati as a global spiritual hub, combining tradition with world-class infrastructure.
