Vice-President Radhakrishnan Backs AI Job Creation at India Impact Summit

VP Radhakrishnan highlights AI’s role in jobs and inclusive growth.

Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan on Friday addressed global CEOs and delegates at the India AI Impact Summit held at the Uprashtrapati Bhavan, highlighting the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare, education, and governance. He emphasized that AI would not only simplify processes but also generate new employment opportunities across sectors.

During the interactions, global industry leaders shared insights on how AI is reshaping the worldwide work landscape. They praised India’s strong talent pool, its emerging innovative solutions, and the government-backed India AI Mission for fostering a collaborative ecosystem.

Delegates highlighted citizen-centric AI applications, including proposals for real-time language translation in parliamentary proceedings, aimed at improving accessibility, transparency, and efficiency in governance. The summit was recognized for its scale and impact, reflecting India’s growing stature in global AI discussions.

Radhakrishnan reiterated that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, India’s hosting of the summit positions the country as a global AI hub. He underlined the importance of a people-centric and inclusive AI approach, noting that empowering citizens with the right technological platforms would unlock immense national potential in the coming years.
