The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) Result 2026 is expected to be announced soon by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on its official website. The examination was conducted on July 2, 3 and 4, 2026, while the provisional answer key was released on July 8. Candidates were given an opportunity to raise objections against the answer key until July 14.
The result date has not been officially confirmed yet. However, based on recent examination timelines, the result could be announced around 15 to 20 days after the objection window closes. Candidates who appeared for the examination are advised to regularly check the UPESSC website for the official result notification and avoid relying on unverified dates circulating online.
A total of 19,94,661 candidates registered for UPTET 2026, of whom 17,70,714 appeared for the examination. The test was conducted in two papers. Paper 1 was meant for candidates seeking eligibility to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 was conducted for those aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8. The large number of candidates makes the UPTET result an important announcement for aspiring teachers across Uttar Pradesh.

How To Check UPTET Result 2026?
Once the result is declared, candidates can visit the official UPESSC website and click on the UPTET Result 2026 link. They will then need to enter the required login credentials and submit the details. After the scorecard appears on the screen, candidates should download it and keep a copy for future reference.
The qualifying marks for UPTET 2026 are prescribed according to the candidate's category. General category candidates need to secure at least 90 marks out of 150, equivalent to 60 per cent. Candidates belonging to OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD and other eligible reserved categories are required to secure at least 82 marks, equivalent to 55 per cent, as per the qualifying criteria provided for the examination.
Candidates who secure the prescribed minimum marks will be eligible for the UPTET Eligibility Certificate. The certificate is an important qualification for candidates seeking teaching opportunities covered by the eligibility test. Until the result is formally announced, candidates should monitor the official UPESSC website for the confirmed release date, result link and any further instructions regarding the scorecard or eligibility certificate.
