UP CM’s Bold Promise: Full Funding for Serious Illness Treatment
UP CM Yogi Adityanath pledges full funding for serious illness treatment at top hospitals.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Sunday that the state government will provide comprehensive financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses, ensuring that patients can access care at top hospitals without financial burden. The commitment was made during a Janata Darshan, a public grievance redressal program held at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan auditorium within the Gorakhnath temple complex in Gorakhpur.
Interacting with nearly 200 attendees seeking aid for critical medical conditions, Adityanath directed officials to expedite the preparation of medical cost estimates and forward them to the government for swift allocation of funds from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund. He emphasized that no patient should face delays or financial constraints in receiving treatment, urging citizens to seek care at premier medical facilities with the assurance of full government support.
During the session, the chief minister personally listened to each individual’s grievances, ranging from healthcare needs to issues like land disputes and intimidation. He handed over their applications to officials, instructing them to address concerns with urgency, sensitivity, and transparency to prevent unnecessary hardship. In cases involving land grabbing or threats, Adityanath ordered strict legal action to ensure justice.
