UP CM Highlights Noida Airport’s Role in Investment, Employment, and Connectivity
CM Yogi hails Noida Airport as UP growth and connectivity hub.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, present at the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar on Saturday, said the project will transform the state and accelerate its growth trajectory. He described the airport as a powerful symbol of a changing “New India” under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Speaking at the event, CM Yogi asserted that the airport will enhance global connectivity, position Uttar Pradesh as a major investment hub, and open a new trajectory of development. He credited the Centre’s policies over the past decade for ensuring effective implementation of schemes on the ground, delivering tangible results.
“Uttar Pradesh, once lagging on the development index, is now rapidly emerging with a distinct and dynamic identity. Improved law and order and robust infrastructure have made the state an attractive destination for investors,” he said, highlighting the state’s economic resilience amid global uncertainties.

The Chief Minister noted that the foundation stone laid in November 2021 has now translated into the inauguration of the first phase, showcasing timely execution under the “double engine” government. He linked the occasion to the festive spirit of Ram Navami, emphasizing India’s balanced growth despite global challenges.
CM Yogi highlighted that Jewar airport will become a central pillar of UP’s development, generating large-scale employment and investment opportunities. It will be seamlessly integrated with key infrastructure networks, including the Yamuna Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Ganga Expressway, RRTS, and the proposed Delhi-Varanasi High-Speed Rail corridor, creating a high-speed, multi-modal connectivity ecosystem.
Pointing to the region’s growing investment potential, he cited the recent foundation of a semiconductor manufacturing unit near the airport and the development of an electronics manufacturing cluster. The airport will also feature modern facilities such as aviation fuel farms, in-flight kitchens, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services, and energy-efficient digital technologies.
CM Yogi added that the dedicated multi-modal cargo hub will help Uttar Pradesh overcome landlocked limitations, significantly boosting trade and access to global markets.
