He explained that he had gone to Menal Waterfalls with his family to mark the occasion, a popular destination in the region known for drawing visitors during the monsoon season when the falls are at their most scenic.
While returning home to Chittorgarh after the outing, the family stopped at a lay-by on the highway for around 15 minutes, according to Shiv Prakash's account. This detail directly contradicts the narrative that had taken hold online, which suggested the family had staged an extended, deliberate sit-down meal in the middle of active highway traffic rather than making a brief, incidental stop at a designated pull-over area meant for vehicles to safely halt.
