Tragic Crash on Purvanchal Expressway Kills Teen
19-year-old woman dies in horrific expressway collision.
A devastating accident on the Purvanchal Expressway in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, claimed the life of 19-year-old Disha on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. The tragedy occurred when a car carrying a family returning from a funeral in Gorakhpur collided with a stationary truck, according to Dostpur Station House Officer Aniruddh Singh.
Four other family members, belonging to an advocate’s household, sustained injuries and were promptly taken to Dostpur government hospital, where their conditions are reported as stable. The police have sent Disha’s body for a postmortem examination as investigations into the crash continue.
