Tragedy in Muzaffarnagar: Teen's Body Found in Village Pond
The boy’s family filed a complaint earlier that day.
The body of a 15-year-old boy was discovered floating in a pond in Kuralsi village, Muzaffarnagar, on Sunday, police reported. Locals spotted the body, which was retrieved and sent for a postmortem, according to Station House Officer (SHO) Anand Dev Mishra.
The boy’s family filed a complaint stating he had gone missing earlier that day. His slippers, found near the pond, led police to suspect he may have entered the water to bathe and accidentally drowned.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident, with initial findings pointing to a possible accident.
