Tej Pratap Yadav Vows Revenge After Sister Rohini’s Humiliation, Targets “Jaichands” in RJD
Lalu’s elder son launches all-out attack on Tejashwi’s inner circle over Rohini humiliation.
Tej Pratap Yadav on Monday unleashed a ferocious public assault on the “Jaichands” he accused of orchestrating the brutal humiliation of his sister Rohini Acharya, warning that “they will have to pay the heaviest price and face the most severe consequences” for daring to insult a daughter who saved their father’s life. The former environment minister, who himself has been sidelined by the RJD for years, declared that while he swallowed every personal slight and even his own expulsion from party affairs, “the insult meted out to our sister has crossed all limits and shaken me to the core.”
Posting a series of explosive messages on X, Tej Pratap made it clear the target of his rage is the coterie around younger brother Tejashwi Yadav, particularly Sanjay Yadav and Rameez Nemat Khan, whom Rohini had already named as the masterminds who turned Tejashwi against her. Using the medieval traitor Jaichand as a metaphor, he thundered: “I must tell all these Jaichands – if you raise your eyes toward our family, the people of Bihar will never forgive you.” The veiled death threat sent shockwaves across political circles and instantly went viral among RJD workers still reeling from the party’s election debacle.
The trigger remains Rohini Acharya’s devastating weekend posts in which she revealed she was sworn at with the filthiest abuses, threatened with a slipper, and cruelly mocked for donating her kidney to Lalu Prasad in Singapore in 2022, with Tejashwi allegedly screaming that she had sold a “gandi kidney” for “crores of rupees and a Saran ticket.” The 47-year-old, who lost the Lok Sabha contest last year, announced she was quitting politics forever, disowning the family, and leaving the ancestral Patna home, claiming she had been “driven out like an orphan” by her brother’s aides.

Tej Pratap’s dramatic entry into the fray has now split the Yadav clan wide open: three other sisters have reportedly walked out in solidarity with Rohini, senior leaders are picking sides in hushed whispers, and Lalu Prasad – still recovering from health issues – is facing the nightmare of his empire fracturing publicly just when the RJD needed unity most. Party insiders fear the “Jaichand” rhetoric could spiral into physical confrontations between the two brothers’ loyalists.
With Tej Pratap openly positioning himself as Rohini’s protector and vowing street justice against the “traitors,” what began as a post-poll sibling spat has exploded into a full-blown succession war that threatens to finish the RJD before the next election cycle even begins. Bihar’s political landscape has rarely witnessed a family feud this raw, this public, and this dangerous.
