The video of the rescue shows the rafting team skillfully maneuvering their inflatable raft through the rapids to reach the frightened dog. One rescuer carefully stepped onto a nearby stone to calm the animal by petting it, while ropes were used to bring the raft closer. The dog was then lifted safely into the raft and returned to dry land unharmed.
The rescue was shared online by the Instagram handle Save a Stray Noida, which captioned the video: “This innocent soul got trapped in the Ganga as the water level suddenly rose, leaving him helpless.
