Shocking Scandal Rocks Pune’s Iconic Cafe Goodluck: Licence Suspended!

Glass shards in food spark outrage, forcing FDA to shut down beloved eatery.

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has temporarily suspended the licence of Pune’s legendary Cafe Goodluck in Deccan due to serious hygiene violations. The drastic measure follows a viral social media video allegedly showing glass pieces in a “bun muska” ordered by a couple at the eatery.

FDA Joint Commissioner Suresh Annapure confirmed that an inspection revealed unhygienic conditions at the popular food joint. “We found significant lapses in hygiene standards, prompting us to suspend the licence until compliance is ensured,” Annapure stated on Sunday.

The FDA acted swiftly after the disturbing reports surfaced, highlighting concerns over food safety at the iconic establishment. Cafe Goodluck remains closed pending further investigation and corrective measures.
