Shah Rukh Khan honours terror victims, soldiers at Global Peace Honours 2025.
Bollywood Icon Shah Rukh Khan delivered a powerful tribute to victims of terrorism and the armed forces at the 2025 Global Peace Honours in Mumbai, solemnly remembering those who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the April 2025 Pahalgam tragedy, and the recent blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, while hailing the unmatched courage of security personnel who laid down their lives defending the nation.
The 60-year-old superstar extended a heartfelt salute to the martyrs’ families, acknowledging the silent battles fought by mothers who raised brave sons, fathers who instilled duty, and spouses who endured prolonged separation and ultimate sacrifice. “Even though the soldiers were on the battlefield, you also fought that battle with immense bravery,” Khan said, visibly moved, as he praised their resilience in the face of irreversible loss.
Khan emphasised that India’s greatest strength lies in its unbreakable unity and inherent peace, declaring that no external force has ever succeeded in shattering the nation’s spirit because its guardians in uniform stand resolute. “No one has been able to stop us, defeat us, or snatch our peace away,” he asserted, adding that as long as these “superheroes in uniform” protect the country, peace and security will forever prevail on Indian soil.

Stressing that true peace transcends caste, creed, and discrimination, the actor urged citizens to rise above divisions and walk the path of humanity, ensuring the sacrifices of soldiers are never in vain. “If we have peace amongst us, nothing can shake India, nothing can defeat India, and nothing can break the spirit of us Indians,” he said, framing peace as the ultimate revolution needed for progress, innovation, and a better world.
In a stirring finale, Khan recited poignant lines dedicated to the armed forces: “When someone asks what you do, say with pride — I protect the country. If they ask how much you earn, smile and say — I earn the blessings of 1.4 billion people. And if they still ask whether you ever feel fear, look them in the eye and say — those who attack us are the ones who feel fear.” His words left the audience profoundly moved, reaffirming faith in India’s enduring unity and resilience.
