RSS Chief Bhagwat to Speak in Cuttack

RSS Chief’s Big Speech in Cuttack

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to address a religious congregation at the Gaudiya Vaishnavism Sammilani at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack on Thursday afternoon. The event marks a significant gathering of devotees and RSS supporters in Odisha, aligning with the organization’s ongoing efforts to promote cultural and spiritual unity.

Bhagwat, who arrived in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening, stayed at the Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti office in Mancheswar. Late Wednesday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with senior BJP leaders and ministers, met the RSS chief to discuss regional and organizational matters, sources confirmed.

Following the Cuttack event, Bhagwat will travel to Puri for darshan of Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Balabhadra at the Jagannath Temple. He is also scheduled to meet Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati at Govardhan Peeth, a significant spiritual interaction emphasizing the RSS’s ties with traditional Hindu institutions.

Bhagwat’s visit, concluding on August 15, underscores the RSS’s influence in Odisha, especially amid preparations for Independence Day. The RSS has been actively involved in social initiatives like blood donation camps and temple visits across the state, as noted in recent posts on X.
