Key Meet to Shape Sangh’s 100th Year
Senior leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its 32 affiliated organizations will convene in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from September 5 to 7, 2025, for the annual Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak, a three-day coordination meeting to discuss contemporary issues and strategize for the RSS’s centenary celebrations. The gathering, set to coincide with Vikram Samvat 2082, Bhadrapad Shukla Trayodashi to Paurnima, will include RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, and all six joint general secretaries, alongside key representatives from groups like the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), and Rashtra Sevika Samiti.
RSS national publicity head Sunil Ambekar announced that the meeting will focus on critical national issues, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent Independence Day call for a high-powered demographic mission to address illegal infiltration. The agenda will also cover a collective analysis of recent developments, organizational updates, and future plans, with a special emphasis on programs to mark the RSS’s 100th year since its founding in 1925. Discussions will likely explore initiatives like cultural festivals, youth outreach, and social service campaigns to amplify the Sangh’s influence.
The meeting will see participation from national presidents and organizing secretaries of affiliates such as Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Vidya Bharati, and Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh. Ambekar emphasized that the Baithak will assess the current national situation through ground-level insights, addressing themes of unity, security, and social harmony while fostering coordination among affiliates for ongoing and future initiatives.
