RSS comments on Ram Temple row, alleging attempts to malign Hinduism.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed concern over an alleged theft of donations from the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, stating that the incident has deeply hurt the sentiments of devotees of Lord Ram. The organisation said the matter has caused distress among sections of Hindu society and called for strict legal action against those found responsible.
According to the RSS, the alleged theft from the donation boxes at the temple has significantly impacted public faith, and the incident should be treated with utmost seriousness. The organisation noted that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had requested the Uttar Pradesh government to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is now probing the matter. It added that accountability must be ensured and anyone found guilty should face the strictest punishment under the law.
The RSS further stated that the temple administration must address any gaps in management and operational systems to prevent such incidents in the future. It said corrective steps are necessary to maintain the trust and devotion of millions of pilgrims who visit the Ram Temple, and to ensure transparency in its functioning.
