Renault India Records 5,413 Units In April 2026 With 108% YoY Growth

Renault India records strong April 2026 sales growth driven by Triber, Kiger and Duster demand.

Renault India has reported a sharp rise in sales for April 2026, posting a 108 per cent year-on-year growth with total domestic wholesales of 5,413 units. The performance marks a strong start to FY2026, compared to 2,602 units sold in the same month last year, reflecting renewed demand across its product lineup in the Indian market.

The company attributed the robust growth to sustained customer response following the launch of its new-generation models, including the Renault Triber and Renault Kiger in September 2025. These models have helped strengthen Renault’s presence in the entry-level and compact vehicle segments, which continue to see strong demand in India’s passenger vehicle market.

A further boost came from the newly launched Renault Duster, which reportedly received a strong initial response soon after deliveries began in April. The early traction indicates revived interest in the SUV segment, where competition remains intense. The company said demand momentum for the Duster has contributed significantly to its overall monthly performance.

To support rising demand, Renault India has also expanded its retail and service footprint across the country. The automaker recently opened a new “R Store” and workshop in Ranchi, bringing its total network of sales and service touchpoints to 638 locations nationwide. The expansion is aimed at improving accessibility and after-sales support for customers across urban and semi-urban markets.

In parallel, Renault has continued to refresh its product offerings. The 2026 version of the Triber MPV has been introduced with upgraded interiors, including a dual-tone dashboard and an 8-inch floating touchscreen supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Across variants such as Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion, the model now includes additional comfort and convenience features like steering-mounted controls, rear defogger, and segment-first automatic climate control in the top variant.

The updated Triber is priced between ₹5.80 lakh and ₹8.48 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as one of the more affordable multi-purpose vehicles in its segment. With strong early-year sales momentum and continued product updates, Renault India appears to be focusing on volume growth and market consolidation in FY2026.
