Rajasthan CM meets Union ministers to discuss state development and welfare.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma visited New Delhi on Tuesday, holding a series of high-level meetings with Union Ministers and Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders to discuss the state’s development priorities, public welfare schemes, and strengthened Centre-state coordination. The visit focused on ensuring seamless implementation of ongoing projects and planning new initiatives across key sectors.
In a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Sharma reviewed the law and order situation in Rajasthan and discussed ongoing development initiatives. He emphasised that collaborative efforts between the state and the Centre are driving progress and noted that guidance from the Union Home Minister continues to inspire the state leadership.
During discussions with Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda, Sharma highlighted plans to strengthen healthcare services, expand medical infrastructure, and ensure effective implementation of the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He underlined that providing quality healthcare remains a top priority of the Rajasthan government.

Chief Minister Sharma also met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, focusing on inclusive growth, economic development, and infrastructure expansion in the state. He expressed gratitude for the Centre’s continued support, which he said is instrumental in realising Rajasthan’s vision of a Viksit (developed) state.
In meetings with Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil and Union Food and Public Distribution Minister Pralhad Joshi, the Chief Minister discussed key water initiatives, including the Ram Jal Setu Link Project, progress under the Jal Jeevan Mission, and measures to strengthen the Public Distribution System. He reiterated the state’s commitment to providing safe drinking water and safeguarding consumer interests.
Sharma also met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh, focusing on implementing the National Education Policy 2020, promoting international languages, expanding employment-oriented education for youth, and strengthening party organisation. The Chief Minister said that under the “double engine government,” Rajasthan is setting new benchmarks in governance, development, and public welfare.
