The bus, carrying tourists from a village in Ranpur taluka, was returning from a trip to Junagadh when it rammed into the parked truck along a roadside, according to Police Inspector Parbad Vanda. “The impact was severe, and three men died on the spot,” Vanda reported, adding that the injured were quickly rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Preliminary investigations suggest the truck was stationary, possibly due to a breakdown, when the bus, traveling at considerable speed, failed to stop in time. The force of the collision left the front of the bus mangled, trapping several passengers in the wreckage. Emergency response teams worked tirelessly to extricate victims and provide immediate medical attention.
