Private Bus Carrying Engineering Students Overturns in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Several Injured

A private bus carrying around 60 students from KLR Engineering College met with a serious accident when it overturned near Palvancha, located between Aswapuram and Burgampahad mandals in Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana, resulting in multiple injuries among the passengers on Thursday morning.
The mishap took place as the students were traveling to their examination center, with the bus losing control and flipping over, leading to a chaotic scene where several students sustained varying degrees of injuries, including four who suffered fractures in their hands and legs, and one student whose hand was severely crushed requiring immediate specialized care.
Prompt rescue efforts ensured that all injured individuals were swiftly transported to Bhadrachalam Area Hospital, where medical teams provided urgent treatment to stabilize their conditions and address the trauma caused by the sudden overturning of the vehicle.

Preliminary investigations by authorities point towards dense fog prevailing in the area as a likely contributing factor to the loss of control, although conflicting accounts from the students allege negligence on the driver's part, with claims that he had explicitly mentioned issues with the steering mechanism not functioning properly prior to the journey commencing.
Aggrieved students have also raised serious concerns regarding the arrangement of the bus itself, stating that a different vehicle had been originally scheduled for the trip but was substituted with another at the last minute, prompting strong demands for a detailed and impartial probe into the entire incident to establish responsibility and prevent future occurrences.
