The President’s address will begin at 7 pm and will be broadcast across the national network of Akashvani, also known as All India Radio. It will also be telecast live on all Doordarshan channels. The official broadcast will first carry the Hindi version, followed by the English version, before regional Doordarshan channels broadcast the address in various regional languages.
Akashvani will broadcast regional-language versions of the President’s address at 9.30 pm on its respective regional networks. Viewers can therefore access the speech in Hindi and English during the initial national broadcast and later follow regional-language versions through the relevant Doordarshan and Akashvani networks.

The address comes a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech from the Red Fort in New Delhi.
