Actor Deepika Padukone has been spotted filming scenes with Shah Rukh Khan for their upcoming film King, with pictures and a short video from the set quickly gaining attention online. The images, reportedly taken during a shoot in Cape Town, show the two stars together as production on the highly anticipated project continues.

Deepika, who is expecting her second child with actor Ranveer Singh this year according to reports, appeared in a flowing dress and smiling during the outdoor shoot. Shah Rukh Khan was seen in a striped shirt, sunglasses, and pendant, drawing praise from fans on social media. Reports suggested the pair were filming a song sequence for the movie.

The leaked visuals triggered a wave of reactions online, with fans praising the screen presence of both actors. Last year, Deepika officially confirmed her involvement in King through a social media post. She shared a message recalling lessons she learned from Shah Rukh Khan during the making of Om Shanti Om, writing that the experience of making a film and the people involved matter more than box-office success. She added that the shared outlook was one reason they were reuniting again.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is being described as an action drama blending scale and style. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the cast also includes Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. With production underway, the project is already emerging as one of the most talked-about upcoming Hindi releases.
