PM Modi Reviews Progress of Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Parliament Meet

PM Modi receives construction update on Shri Kalki Dham temple from Acharya Pramod Krishnam.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met spiritual guru Acharya Pramod Krishnam in his Parliament chamber to review the progress of Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh. Acharya Pramod Krishnam, chairman of the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, presented the Prime Minister with an ang-vastram, prasad, and a report detailing the ongoing construction work of the temple dedicated to the future Kalki Avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Sharing the meeting on social media, the spiritual leader described it as a moment of honour. “We had the fortune of presenting to the Prime Minister the progress report of Shri Kalki Dham, along with the prasad of the world’s first ‘Kalki Katha’ and an ang-vastram,” he wrote, highlighting the temple’s spiritual significance and its unique offerings.

The foundation stone for Shri Kalki Dham Temple was laid by PM Modi on February 19 last year, when he also unveiled a detailed model of the planned structure. At the time, the Prime Minister emphasized that the project symbolises the revival of devotion and spirituality in the land of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna, further strengthening India’s spiritual heritage.

Describing the architectural vision of the temple, PM Modi had noted that it will feature ten garbh grihas (sanctums) housing all ten avatars of Lord Vishnu. This design aims to represent the various forms of the Lord, including human incarnations, offering devotees a holistic experience of divine presence and a symbolic connection to India’s sacred scriptures.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for being part of the temple’s foundation stone ceremony and acknowledged the guidance of saints present at the event. He specifically thanked Shri Acharya Pramod Krishnam for his efforts in overseeing the temple’s construction, reinforcing the collaborative spirit behind the project.

PM Modi highlighted the broader significance of such projects in India’s cultural and spiritual renaissance. Referring to the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the recent inauguration of a temple in Abu Dhabi, he remarked that what once seemed unimaginable is now becoming a tangible reality, positioning Shri Kalki Dham as the next key destination for devotion and pilgrimage.
