PM Modi Leads 9th Pariksha Pe Charcha: Exams as Celebration in February 2026
PM Modi to interact with students in the 9th Pariksha Pe Charcha in early February 2026.
The ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) is scheduled to be held in the first week of February 2026, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on Thursday. The interactive programme will once again feature Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaging directly with students ahead of their board examinations.
CBSE shared the tentative schedule on social media platform X, stating that the Prime Minister will interact with students during the 2026 edition of the event in New Delhi. The annual initiative aims to address exam-related stress and encourage a positive approach toward learning and personal well-being among students.
The programme will be broadcast live across multiple platforms to ensure nationwide reach. According to CBSE, the event will be telecast on Doordarshan channels, including DD National, DD News, and DD India, along with major private television networks. Live coverage will also be available on All India Radio’s medium wave and FM channels, as well as on the digital platforms of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Education.

During the interaction, Prime Minister Modi will answer questions from selected participants on topics such as examination preparation, stress management, motivation, and overall mental health. The event is designed to create a dialogue between students and the prime minister, offering guidance beyond academics and focusing on holistic development.
Registrations for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 have crossed a significant milestone this year, with more than four crore registrations from students, parents, and teachers across the country. Officials described the response as unprecedented, reflecting the growing popularity and relevance of the initiative.
Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has become an annual pre-exam fixture for students appearing in board examinations. The 2026 edition will revolve around themes such as making exams a celebration, contributions of freedom fighters, environmental protection and cleanliness, and reinforcing broader social values alongside academic success.
